Spring has Sprung

This is part of my backyard. I just thought I would share some pics, these were taken last week and all the dirt spots next to the flowers are now filled in with really pretty flowers. I would have posted newer pics but the wife let the batteries die on the camera. We just bought our house last November and were blessed with a truly wonderful garden that neither my wife or I know how to care for. I hope you enjoy these pictures cause we tend to kill any and all living plants in our sight. I think just our looking at plants creates some sort of salt in the air that eventually rains down and destroys stuff.

I cant wait, I have purchased a new scoot, so my avatar will be changing soon. It is Silver and the assholes wont let me pic it up untill FRIDAY.(DAMN!!!!) Im keeping my old scoot for the time being, but it will most likely end up being covered with a blanket and sitting in a corner of the shop. This is kinda sad.

Silver, I win.:) It was a contest, right? Why doesn't Mrs. B take the blue?

Give me the old scoot so that I can come riding with you and the Pink. I don't have my license but that has not stopped me before. By the looks of how you guys ride, I don't think it's much of a concern anyway, right?

If there is any way you could figure how to email me the scoot, great, other wise I guess it will have to be snail mail.

When should I send you my address?

I llike the bamboo! Hey, did you dig down and put in a root barrier? Because that stuff will spread and you'll have bamboo all over the place. So will your neighbors. . .

It still isn't spring in San Francisco. It was in the mid-forties, which in this city is arctic.

Hey, Matty burned me this great Isobel Campbell CD called Ballad of the Broken Seas -- I'm going right out to purchase it, legit-like, tomorrow before work because I love it so. . . have you heard it?

I too love the bamboo. I wish it would grow here. If you're interested in keeping your gardens green you should buy the Gardening for Dummies book. It's a great reference for the novice as well as the not so novice.

Good choice with the silver. If the color on your website is anything like the adverts that will be on your scoot, the contrast will be superb.

Sausage, Silver was definetly a good choice I think. Mrs.B is kinda anti-scooter lately cause its all I have been talking about. I think she'll come around(crossing my fingers)

PDD, I bet you could just ride on the back of FLamingo's bike. My old scoot wouldnt be able to keep up.
I wish I could take the credit for the flowers but they were the previous owners doing.

Ing, sorry to hear its cold there. We were actually blessed with a couple of nice days here. I have heard of Isobel Campbell, but I havent really heard the music. I will check it out tonight!
It looks like there may be some sort of plastic thing containing the Bamboo but Im not sure, I will definetly check it out. I dont think I would mind a little more bamboo, but I certainly dont want it taking over the yard.
P.S. Good pics of you on Matt's blog!

Toby, thanks, I took all advice given here very strongly! I think silver is gonna rock!
I will check out the book too, but I seriously have a black thumb.

I will be posting pics of my new scoot soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you're considering the sidecar, but can Mrs. B sit on the back? I hope she gets your old scooter.

Yes, silver is going to rock. I'm glad you'll check out the book. I'm not sure how popular bamboo is around your parts, but it would be sad to see it go. I'm sure your not-so-green thumb will change after the read. Good luck to you.

"Get on your bad motor scooter and ride". Damn thats an Old Sammy Hagar song, it hurts so bad! Love scooters Roscoe has a good story on a tricked out Vintage Vespa if we can coax it out of him, it was printed in a magazine and everything. Hurry up with the avatar. I have lots of English Ivy I am hoping it will take over my entire back yard so I dont have to mow.
